A number of years ago a woman had found a couple of stray cats and their kittens on her property, and was looking to have them spayed or neutered and have the kittens rehomed. Pet Patrol was able to help with that and the woman kept the adults, as they were feral, for her farm. Fast forward to this fall and there was a litter of kittens born to another feral cat. Once again they were offering to keep the mother cat, if we could take the kittens. This mother cat, as tiny as she was, gave birth to ten little ones (Angel & Avery among them). A litter that size sometimes has fatalities and one did pass at birth, but the rest were happy and healthy although small, and weaned enough to be taken from their mother. Once at Pet Patrol we needed to find foster homes so that the kittens would receive a lot of attention, and although we couldn’t keep them all together they were sent off in groups of three and four. All have thrived and shown us what friendly and affectionate babies they are, a love for people and can play like no tomorrow.

Angel & Avery are very sweet and gentle kittens who is still small for their age, but doing well. Not much stops her, they will scamper up the scratching post to be Queen of the Castle, and roll around on the floor with a favourite toy, or play with your shoe laces by the front door. They are quite funny and entertaining, love to be picked up and held like a baby and cooed to. So cute. Angel & Avery would love to be with each other in their new home. They are ready to be adopted into one that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
