Rescue
Pet Patrol became aware of Adam and the serious situation in which he was living when a call was received from a Veterinarian. A woman, one of his clients, is a severe hoarder and her home has an extraordinary amount of clutter and cats, which has built up over time. She admitted that she had 35 cats and kittens living in her home with her. It is a confined space, extremely unclean and an unhealthy environment for all. Adam lived with the constant smell of urine and feces, as well as dust and mould issues. The woman was employed and provided the cats with premium cat food, however she was unable to have them spayed or neutered. Subsequently, because of the deterioration of the rental property, she has been evicted from her home and with the help of the Veterinarian, Pet Patrol and other cat rescue organizations are bringing the cats into our care for adoption.

Personality
As you can imagine Adam’s rescue was a total culture shock for him. Going from a stifling environment into a foster home which is clean, well maintained and bright. Everything was new to him, not only his surroundings, but also the volunteers and visitors coming to the house. Quickly he came out of his shell and revealed what a sweet natured and lovable cat he is. He’s made himself at home and enjoys sleeping and relaxing on the bed. His sweetheart is Agatha, also rescued from the same house and they are often seen cuddled up together. Adam is a cuddly cat and is a very friendly. He is looking for a home that is gentle and easygoing, one that will provide him with the love and nurturing that he so deserves. Adam is ready to be adopted into a loving and permanent home, one that will welcome him as part of the family and keep him safely indoors.
