Rescue:

Sitting on her balcony catching the last few warm hours of fall and elderly woman noticed a
car pull into the parking lot of her apartment building. She didn’t recognize the car but when
the car pulled out quickly she suddenly saw a number of cats left behind. It seems that
they were dumped. There are laws against abandoning cats, but she did not see the
person or license plate. The cats were frightened and she started putting food out on her
balcony for them, and soon they came to retrieve it, and were welcomed inside her apartment. Now five months later they have reached maturity and are starting to breed. This is
where this pretty mama cat Belle and six babies came from. There are many others cats
there as well and she was recommended to contact other rescue groups to help with spaying and neuter this little colony. There are just too many for one cat rescue organization to
handle all at once.

Personality:

Belle and her kittens all turned out to be affectionate and loving cats. Her personality is
gentle and sweet and she is always up for a good ear rub, it goes a long way with her.
Belle is curious about new environments and she will explore every room and see what the
view is out the window. She is used to being picked up, pet and cuddled. Not much gets
by her as she likes to see the comings and going and be part of the family. Belle is ready to
be adopted into her forever home with another cat, or with her son Beau. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
