Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who has connected Pet Patrol to a number of
people, living in rural areas, who needed to rehome their cats. In the case of Pikachu, we
were told that he was one year old, had a brother (Rumi) and that an elderly woman could no
longer look after them. She had gotten them so her grandchildren could play with them, but
being young cats they were too busy. Ummm…not the right story. Pikachu is just over two years
of age, is not related to Roomy but was living with an elderly woman. She and her daughter
sold their homes and bought a new place so they all could live together. But that meant four
cats in the home and some not getting along. The older woman was also on oxygen and the
extra pet hair and litter dust was compromising her breathing. So unfortunately they needed to
down size their feline family. Pikachu has made himself completely at home at the sanctuary
and is looking for a forever home.

Personality:

Described as a very friendly and affectionate cat, Pikachu would to well in an adult home,
quiet and comfortable. He has explored the sanctuary and knows of all the best perches to
look out the window, happy to watch the traffic, birds and squirrels. Any sun beam streaming in
the window is meant for him to sleep in. As a passive and sweet natured cat he will provide
good company, likes someone to curl up with and is always game for a good movie. He has
been checking out the toys as well and loves
the laser pen light. Pikachu is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
