Rescue:

Kitty Kitty was a cat from a traditional home, not too far from the sanctuary. She had lived there
for about a year and had a litter of kittens early in the spring. The family was not able to bring
them inside, so the babies grew up under the deck, were handled by the people gently and
socialized. Through friends and family, they found homes for them but Kitty Kitty did not get
spayed. Of course, she became pregnant again and had a litter in the fall. She moved them
from underneath her deck to the neighbouring farm where it would be warmer because by now
the nights were quite cold, and the days were cool, but sunny – still not suitable for tiny kittens.
The neighbors, however, did not want her and her babies in their barn and asked the owner to
take them away and they were returned to underneath the deck. The kittens would not survive
in this weather on their own, and Kitty Kitty did not follow them back. The kittens were brought
to Pet Patrol and placed with a surrogate mom. The next day Kitty Kitty arrived but again she
did not want anything to do with her kittens. (it was discovered that she did not have any milk
to feed them)

Personality:

Kitty kitty is a very outgoing cat, friendly, affectionate, and very aware of her surroundings and
new world. It took her a little bit to adjust to windows, and spaces with walls and ceilings,
although the sanctuary play room is very sunny and open. But once spayed she settled down
and she has no interest in being outside anymore. She’s a really nice cat who has enjoyed
playing with other cats, her caregivers, toys we have here and gazing out the window and
basking in the sun. She will be good company for someone, affectionate and easy to pick up.
Kitty Kitty is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors .
