Rescue:

Boots’ mother cat was named Reba and was a street cat who just showed up one day last
summer. She took up living on the back deck of a country home, finding shelter underneath. She appeared to be in good shape but then one day she was suddenly very thin,
which was a definite sign that she had had kittens. Under the deck must have been sufficient for shelter as her first litter of kittens was born under there including Boots. The
kittens were rehomed except for pretty Boots, but not being fixed by the people who fed
them, Reba had a second litter of four babies during the snow storm at the end of March.
By this time, the people had provided her with a heated cat house but thinking it was not
the best weather to have kittens outside, and after not sleeping all night worrying about
them, the woman moved the cats into the spare room in the house. Now safely indoors
and living a luxurious life, it became apparent that Boots was pregnant as well. The family
was not prepared to care for all those cats at one time and soon Reba and her little feline
family were in a Pet Patrol foster home and Boots had her kittens in the safety of a home
as well. All have thrived.

Personality:

Boots is a nice little cat who is very affectionate, likes her people and has shown us that
she is quite intelligent as well. While living outside she was a great hunter and kept the
rodents at bay around the property, she shows those skills when stalking and pouncing on
any toy that wiggles or dangles. She is quite fun loving and happy go lucky. Boots is ready
to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
