Rescue:
Loki and his brother Ace have been living together in the same home since they were tiny
kittens. Their owner was a lovely woman who cared for them a lot, but then life changed
and her world was not in her control any longer. It seems that she had an illness that just
progressively got worse over time and she found herself unable to work or care for herself
let alone the cats. Eventually she was evicted from her basement apartment and had to
stay with family, who would not welcome her boys into the home. Until she could get her
own place again, which will take a very long time, she had to relinquish custody of Loki and
Ace to Pet Patrol. Luckily for them, since their owner had not lived in the apartment for
several months, the land lord allowed them to stay in her apartment. Her friend went daily
on his lunch hour to feed them, clean the room and take care of the boys but it was time
for them to be rehomed as nothing had changed for the better.
Personality:
Loki is a very outgoing cat who only took a few days to adjust to the activities and people in
his foster home. Coming from a very isolated world, he is really enjoying the activities and
it engages his curiosity. Like most cats he is sunbathing in the windows, running around
the house and likes the kitty tunnel and cat trees. He is very affectionate and likes to snuggle with his people, especially if he is getting a belly rub. At night he will gently crawl up on
the bed and cuddle with you. Loki is good company and just a nice boy to have around.
He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family,
perhaps with his brother Ace, and keep him safely indoors.
