Rescue:

A woman who lives out in the boonies as they say (way out in the country with dirt roads,
vast fields and wooded areas, and you can’t see your neighbours) was on her way home
one afternoon. She noticed a skinny looking black and white cat sitting on the side of the
road. She thought that was very odd since it was scorching hot outside and most cats
would be napping in the coolness of the shade. She pulled over and he immediately
started running towards the car, crying all the way. He came right up to her and when she
picked him up he pressed into her and hung on. He was so desperate that he just cried.
She put him in her car and he did not leave her side, he just watched her with hope and a
broken heart. It was obvious that he was abandoned and he was starving. He had no one.

Personality:

This is Bowie. He is such a wonderful cat it is sad to think that he was just chucked out of
the car and left for dead. He had no idea where he was or how to find help except through
people, and that was a rarely traveled road. Once in our care, Bowie just ate and slept for
three days. He was exhausted. When he recovered from his ordeal he continued to gain
strength and show us more of his amazing personality. he is such a dear boy. Bowie is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
